Pen y Cefn House B&B Amlwch - Amlwch Bed and Breakfast Anglesey

“We are open all year with the exception of Christmas and New Year”.

COLIN AND JENNY ROBERTS welcome you to our Anglesey Bed and Breakfast where we offer you comfortable and peaceful accommodation in the historic town of Amlwch, the Ancient Copper Town. Our superb Guest House is ideally situated in Amlwch town for access to all that the Isle of Anglesey has to offer: spectacular coastal walking, bird watching, scuba diving and fishing from nearby harbours. We are situated within 16 miles of Holyhead and its Ferry’s to Ireland and to the splendid new racing circuit, Trac Mon, Anglesey Circuit.

Pen y Cefn house was built in 1900 as the local Smithy and eventually became the residence of a retired ships Captain.

Jenny and I took over Pen Y Cefn House in September 2006 after it had been a popular and well regarded B&B for over twenty years. We converted the rooms to en-suite and completely refurbished them to our very high standards. Quality bed linen and towels, a comfortable bed together with a breakfast of local ingredients of the best quality are very important to us as is the warmth of our welcome and the satisfaction of our guests.

Snowdonia and the attractions of North Wales are a short drive away; however, the unique Island life of Anglesey will draw you back time and time again.

The new Coastal Path around Anglesey is proving very popular with walkers and has spectacular and interesting views and sites and convenient sections for novices and dedicated hoofers alike with Inns and Bed & Breakfast establishments to hand at the end of the day. We welcome walkers and will dry your boots and outer wear if required, also do a little laundry and supply a light packed lunch on request. We are also delighted to have cyclists and divers stay with us and they can use our locked garage for the security of their equipment.

Amlwch and the surrounding area caters for a wide range of outdoor pursuits with many golf courses and sea fishing with local skippers (we will be happy to arrange fishing trips), kite boarding, sail boarding and surfing, Motor Racing and rallying, two and four wheels and the lanes and quiet back roads seem to have been made for cyclists and the well defined network of footpaths are a joy for walkers.
